Kadolph, Albert (4 FEB 1860 – 17 JAN 1915)
Mr. Albert Kadolph, one of Loyal's (Clark Co., Wis.) well known and highly
esteemed citizens, answered the death call last Sunday morning, January
17th, 1915, at the age of 54 years, 11 months and 12 days. The cause of his
death being a complication of diseases.
Mr. Kadolph was born February 4th, 1860 at Ponknin, Germany, and was united
in marriage to Miss Rosalie Tuhrow on December 18th, 1883. In the year 1886
they came to America and at first made their home in the town of Hartford,
Wisconsin. Many years ago he came to Clark County, where he made a fine farm
out of mostly a wilderness. About two years ago he moved to this village,
where he has resided until his death.
He was a kind and faithful husband father, who always had a pleasing smile
for everyone. In his death the family lost a loving husband and father, and
the community a man who will always be remembered for his steadfastness and
perseverance in doing that which he thought to be right.
He leaves, besides his wife, seven children, who are: Mrs. Frank Wichman of
Loyal, Mrs. Otto Scherger of Hartford, Paul of Hartford, Ben of Loyal,
Arthur of the town of Hartford, and Elsa and Ewald at home. He also is
mourned by four sisters, one brother and four grandchildren.
Those who were here to attend the funeral from away were: Mr. and Mrs. Otto
Scherger, Mr.a nd Mrs. Gust Brown, Mrs. Carl Guske, Mrs. Carl Rexillus, Paul
Kadolph, Arthur Kadolph, and Elson Kadolph, all of Hartford, Mr. Bernhard
Ruschke of Rubicon, Mrs. Fred Doehling of Clintonville, Mr. and Mrs. Wm.
Kadolph of Hartford, and Mrs. Julius Kulmke of Milwaukee.
The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Lutheran
Church, with burial in the village cemetery, Rev. E. Kemena officiating.
