Rau, Donna Marie (Marriage 17 December 1984)
Miss Donna Marie Rau, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Rau of Route 1,
Abbotsford and Allan Edward Beyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Beyer of Route
1, Unity, were married December 17 at St. Thomas Catholic Church with the
Rev. Leonard C. Stashek officiating at the service. Music was provided by
the Schaefer Sisters of Milan.
Maid of Honor was Miss Sue Streit of Edgar. Bridesmaids were Monica Vesely
of Eau Claire and Kathy Beyer, Unity. Doug Bauer, Unity, was best man; Dale
Beyer, Unity and Brian Rau, Abbotsford, Groomsmen; and Michael Rau and
Dorothy Beyer ushered.
The bride had a white satin and alencon and venise lace town with chapel
train and matching veil hat. She held a bridal bouquet.
Also having floral arrangements were the aides, who had red satin formals.
The reception and dinner were at the church hall and the wedding dance was
at the American Legion Hall in Unity. The newlyweds, who live at Abbotsford,
plan to take a honeymoon in summer.
The bride is a 1983 graduate of Abbotsford High School and works at Mr. B's
Restaurant in Abbotsford. Her husband, a 1983 Colby High School graduate, is
an employee at Welcome Dairy, Colby.
