Gault, Marion A. (14 April 1906 – 27 June 1975)
Funeral services were held Monday from the United Church of Christ for a
city native, Mrs. Forest (Marion A.) Gault of Neillsville who died Friday,
June 27, at the age of 69. The Rev. Gary Clark officiated, and interment
followed in the Neillsville City Cemetery. Arrangements were made by the
Georgas-Gesche Funeral Home.
Mrs. Gault, the daughter of Edward and Lena Radtke Northup, was born April
14, 1906, in Neillsville and was educated in local schools, graduating from
Neillsville High School. Her first marriage, which was to Arthur Kunze, took
place in 1924. He died in 1954.
She was married to Forest Gault on November 4, 1962, in Neillsville. Mrs.
Gault had been employed at Memorial Hospital and at the Farmers Store in
Neillsville. She was a member of the United Church of Christ and of Royal
Neighbors of America Golden Link Camp No. 78.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include five children: Donald Kunze
and Mrs. James (Jan) Hauge of Neillsville, Mrs. Douglas (Dorothy) Dix of
Wisconsin Rapids, Mrs. Mike (Ruth) Kainz of Kissimmee, Fl., and Robert Kunze
of Neillsville; two step-children, Mrs. Ruth Ingersol of Milwaukee and Mrs.
Jerry (Lavere) Garity of Sullivan; one sister, Mrs. Gus (Gertrude) DeMert,
and two brothers, Elmer Northup and Ralph Northup, all of Neillsville, and
17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Terry Hauge, Randy Hauge, Mark Kunze, Kim Kunze, Stuart Dix
and John Garity.
Miss Gail Dix sang “Perfect Love” and “The Lord’s Prayer.” Mrs. Deon
Spangler was the accompanist.
Among those attending the service were the following from out of town, Mr.
and Mrs. Douglas Dix and family, Wisconsin Rapids; Ruth Ingersol and Donnie,
Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Kunze, Chicago, Il.; Terry and Christopher
Sanchez, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Garity and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Garity,
Reginald Ingersol, Jerold Ingersol and Bill Ingersol, Sullivan; and Ted
Renicke, Clintonville; Shirley Wyer, Ripon, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Kunze,
Madison; and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hart, Alma Center.
