Sauder Children (d. 20 December 1983)
WITHEE- Combined services will be Saturday at Meadow Brook Mennonite Church
in rural Thorp for the five Sauder children who died Tuesday from smoke
inhalation in a fire that destroyed their home at Route 1, Withee.
Friends may call at the Elmer Sauder home, brother of Ammon Sauder, at Route
1, Withee, Friday.
Ammon Z. Sauder Jr.,6 was born August 25, 1977; his sister, Ellen Sauder, 5,
was born November 16, 1978; and brother, Leon Sauder, 10, was born December
1, 1873, all in Pennsylvania. Loren Sauder, 23 months, was born January 6,
1982 and Wilma Z. Sauder, 6 months, was born June 15, 1983, both in the Town
of Longwood. They were the children of Mr. and Mrs. Ammon (Ellen Zimmerman)
Sauder.
Surviving are their parents, three sisters and one brother, Linda, Lois,
Marlene and Glenn, all at home; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Sauder of
East Earl, Pennsylvania, and Mr. and Mrs. John Zimmerman of Terri Hill,
Pennsylvania; and great-grandmother Mrs. Ellen Hoover of Leola,
Pennsylvania.
The Maurina Funeral Home, Owen, handled arrangements.
