Kesler, Leon G. (6 January 1913-20 December 1983)
Leon G. Kesler, 70, of 8092 Kesler Road, Holbert, a Colby native, died
Tuesday at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Appleton.
Services will be Friday at St. John's Catholic Church, St. Johns, Wisconsin.
The Rev. Kenneth Frozena will be the principal celebrant at the
con-celebrated mass, with the Rev. Alfred Loehr assisting. Burial will be in
the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the Pfeffer-Wieting Funeral Home,
Chilton.
He was born January 6, 1913 in Colby, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Rose
Miller) Kesler. He married Delphine Loehr February 5, 1940 in St. Johns. He
farmed his entire life in the Town of Woodville.
A member of St. John's Catholic Church, and its Holy Name Society, Mr.
Kesler is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Judith) Weiss of
Menasha, and Mrs, Donald (Mary) Hixon of Eagon, Minnesota; four sons,
Anthony of Okinawa, and Nicholas of Hilbert; 16 grandchildren; two sisters,
Mrs. Anita Untiedt of Milwaukee, and Mrs. William (Lorraine) Schacht of
Sequin, Texas; two brothers, Oliver of Manawa, and Irvin of Hilbert.
He was predeceased by a son, a grandson, two sisters and a brother.
