While on the way home from Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.) on Monday, one of
the horses driven by stage driver Hutchins dropped dead in the harness near
Wilcox. The animal showed no signs of being sick when they left Neillsville.
After securing another horse and disposing of the dead one, the stage come
on through, arriving about an hour behind time. It is a serious loss to Mr.
Hutchins.
