(Looking back 20 years)
Loyal is still growing in spite of the hard times. There are four houses in
course of erection now, one nearly done and three others no farther than the
foundation. E. J. Rice, Albert Welch, and B. M. Fullmer are building
residences, and A. Braun is building a saloon. Many others are finishing
plastering, siding or painting buildings built last season.
