Sterzinger, Diane Mary (Geiger) (6 AUG 1947 - 26 AUG 2019)

Diane Mary Sterzinger, age 72, of Howell, passed away peacefully at her home late Monday evening, Aug. 26, 2019.

Born in Abbotsford on Aug. 6, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Frank and the late Clara T. (Wittmann) Geiger. Formerly of Dearborn and a Howell area resident since 1992, Diane was a 1965 graduate of Abbotsford (Wisconsin) High School. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Lakelands Golf Club and the Howell Melon Patch Quilt Guild.

Beloved wife of 54 years to Darrel R. Sterzinger, whom she married on Aug. 28, 1965, in Abbotsford. Loving mother of Lawrence (Corrie) Sterzinger of Ann Arbor and the late Keith Sterzinger. Proud and adoring grandmother of Kathryn and Paul. Sister of Louis Geiger of Cataract, Rita Schmitt of Colby, Doris (Dean) Witte of Colby, Jeanette Hainie of Yuma, Ariz., Celine Lofland of Ogema, the late Alvina Geiger and the late Dorothy Apfelbeck.

A memorial service in honor and celebration of Diane’s life will be held Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 312 Prospect Street, Howell. Interment and graveside services will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Colby, on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019. Memorial contributions are suggested to Grace Lutheran Church.
