Elmhorst, Barbara (Doing Research - 1975)
One hundred and twenty-two college students are doing summer research
projects at U.S. Energy and Research Development Administration Laboratories
in Tennessee, South Carolina, and Puerto Rico.
Included in that group is Barbara Elmhorst, Rt. 1 Granton, a student at the
University of Wisconsin. She is at the Holifield National Laboratory, Oak
Ridge, Tennessee, working on biology projects.
The program provides opportunities for research in the physical, biological
and environmental science, engineering and mathematics. Students work on
problems in their areas of interest under senior staff members of the
laboratories.
