Roehborn, Harry (18 January 1893 – 19 July 1975)
A former Neillsville businessman, Harry Roehborn, 82, of West Bend, died
July 19 at Milwaukee County General Hospital. Funeral services were held
Tuesday morning from St. John’s Lutheran Church, West Bend with the Rev.
George Munn officiating. The body was also in state at the Georgas-Gesche
Funeral Home Tuesday evening. Interment, with graveside services, was at
9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
The son of Albert and Anna Kamann Roehborn, he was born January 18, 1893, in
Sheboygan County. His marriage to the former Dorothy Walk took place October
27, 1919, in Neillsville. Mrs. Roehborn preceded her husband in death on
September 20, 1965.
Mr. Roehborn, who was a veteran of World War I, was a past commander of the
Clark County American Legion. He operated a store in Neillsville for many
years before leaving the city. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran
Church, West Bend, and of the AARP.
Surviving are two children, Mrs. Richard (Arleene) Pelmar and Mrs. Leonard
(Barbra) Hanson, both of Milwaukee; one sister, Mrs. Fredia Harms,
Sheboygan; two brothers, Edwin Roehborn and Arno Boeger, Sheboygan; and six
grandchildren.
