Gibson, Sadie M. (8 FEB 1916)
On February 8th, 1916 at 10 o’clock a.m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. A.
Adams, five miles south of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), Mr. Otto H. Post and
Miss Sadie M. Gibson were united in marriage. Only the immediate friends
were present. After the wedding ceremony they all partook of a very
sumptuous wedding dinner.
After dinner the wedding party left for Granton, where they will take the
train for a three month honeymoon, their first stop being at Waupaca, where
they will visit his sister. From there they will go to the state of Kansas,
where a great many of Mr. Post’s friends live. They expect to return again
in May to the town of York (Clark Co.), where Mr. and Mrs. Post will make
their home, Mr. Post having made arrangement to lease the S. A. Adams farm.
The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Post wish them many happy years of wedlock,
and of prosperity.
The Rev. W. P. Powell officiated.
