Flikke, Arthur (30 August 1892 – 11 July 1975)
Arthur Flikke, 82, Viroqua, former Greenwood resident, died July 11 at the
Viroqua hospital, where he had been a patient for eight days, following a
heart attack.
Funeral services were held July 14 from Northwest Prairie Lutheran Church.
Burial was made in Northwest Prairie Cemetery.
Mr. Flikke was born August 30, 1892, in West Prairie. Following his
marriage, the Flikkes came to Greenwood where they farmed until 1945, on the
present Donald Decker farm, 3 1/2 miles north of here. After they left here
they went to Viroqua, where they resided ever since.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Arnold of Minneapolis; a daughter, Mrs.
Earl (Bernice) nelson of West Prairie; and by six grandchildren and five
great-grandchildren.
