Bakke, Arnold (1 JAN 1909 – 9 JUL 2004)
COLBY – Arnold Bakke, 95, Colby, formerly of Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.) and
Abbotsford, died Friday, July 9, 2004, at St. Joseph's Hospital in
Marshfield.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church,
Curtiss. Burial will be in St. Paul's Norwegian Lutheran Church Cemetery,
rural Curtiss.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Until time of services at the church, on
Tuesday. Maurina Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Bakke was born January 1, 1909, to Albert and Mathilda (Erickson) Bakke. He
married Jean Phillips on April 7, 1933. She died on December 12, 1996. They
operated the family farm from 1944 to 1974.
He is survived by one son, Robert (Karen) Bakke, Curtiss; four
grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
