Ackerman, Joseph J. (20 MAY 1926 – 9 NOV 1999)
ABBOTSFORD — Joseph John Ackerman, 73, Abbotsford, died Nov. 9,1999, at St.
Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.
Services will be at 10:30 am. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in
Curtiss. Inurnment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery in Curtiss.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Maurina Funeral Home in
Abbotsford.
He was born May 20,1926, in the town of Hoard in Taylor County. He was a
dairy farmer in the town of Hoard until his 1991 retirement.
He is survived by his wife Joyce Ackerman of Abbotsford; six sons, Dennis
(Lee) Ackerman of Monument, Colo., David (Susan) Ackerman of Waukesha, Dale
(Flo) Ackerman of Pavillion, Wyo., Dan (Kris) Ackerman of Loveland, Colo.,
Dean (Sue) Ackerman of Curtiss and Doug (Polly) Ackerman of Owen; daughter
Joann (Rick Eldon) Raczykowski of Riverton, Wyo.; 12 grandchildren; two
brothers, Orlando (Judy) Ackerman of Owen and Floyd Ackerman of Janesville;
and three sisters Anita (J.T.) Bucy of Murray, Ky., Dora (Don) Evans of
Banks, Ore., and Donna (Les) Krueger of Abbotsford.
