Vollrath, Paula (10 JUL 1903 – 3 MAY 1988)
Paula Vollrath died May 3, 1988 at Green Bay, Wisconsin. Funeral services
were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 7 at Immanuel United Church of Christ,
rural Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), with Rev. John Tschudy officiating.
Burial was in the UCC West Cemetery. Pallbearers were David, Dennis,
Douglas, Jennifer, Terrence, Thomas, John and Ruth Vollrath. Arrangements
were handled by Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood.
She was born in Germany on July 10, 1903.

Vollrath, Paula (10 July 1903 – 3 May 1988)
Paula Vollrath, 84, a former Greenwood resident, passed away Tuesday, May 3,
at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Green Bay. Death was due to an apparent heart
attack.
She was born July 10, 1903, in Germany to Martin and Marie Yaniga and
attended the Decker School in Greenwood. She was married to Henry Vollrath
March 25, 1925, in Greenwood. For many years she worked at the Greenwood
Telephone. The couple also farmed in the Town of Warner until 1956 when they
moved to the city of Greenwood. They moved to Green Bay one month ago to
reside with a son. During 1975, they celebrated their 50th anniversary. She
was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ and was treasurer of
Immanuel United Church of Christ Cemetery Association.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Verne of Janesville,
Dale and Larry of Green Bay; eight grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents and a half-brother.
Services were held Saturday, May 7, at Immanuel United Church of Christ,
with Rev. John Tschudy officiating, and burial was in Westside Cemetery,
Greenwood. Pallbearers were her grandchildren, David, Dennis, Douglas,
Terrance, Thomas, John, Jennifer and Ruth Vollrath. Rinka Funeral Home of
Greenwood was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be given in her name to the Immanuel United Church of Christ
or the Alzheimer’s Disease Association.
