Maricle, Pearl (2 APR 1895 – 1985)
WITHEE — Mrs. Edward (Pearl) Maricle, 90, Route 1, Withee, died Wednesday (?
1985) at the home of her son, Waldo, at Webb Lake, near Danbury.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church,
Owen. The Rev. Richard Fliss will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside
Cemetery, Withee.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Friday at Maurina Funeral Home, Owen, where
there will be a parish rosary at 8 p.m.
The former Pearl Keryski was born April 2, 1895, in Germany, to Mike and
Frances (Dressier) Keryski. She moved to the United States as a young girl.
She was married to Edward Maricle in 1913. They farmed in the Town of
Reseburg, Clark County, moving to Withee 27 years ago. Her husband died in
1971.
She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Surviving besides her son are two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Michur, North
Chicago, and Mrs. Lorraine McClear, Zion, Ill.; eight grandchildren; and 10
great-grandchildren.
She was also predeceased by one son, James, in 1982, five sisters, and two
brothers.
