Schweiger, John "Jack" (16 NOV 1906 – 27 DEC 1987)
LOYAL — John (Jack) Schweiger, 81, a former Loyal resident, died at 8:10
a.m. Sunday (Dec. 27, 1987) in the Colby Living Center where he had been a
resident since 1981.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Rinka Funeral Home in Loyal.
The Rev. Joseph Kraly, of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Loyal, will
officiate Burial will be in the Loyal Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John,
Lawrence, Tom, Peter, Paul and Mark Weyer.
Visitation will be at the Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, after 4 p.m. Tuesday
and until time of service on Wednesday.
He was born Nov. 16, 1906 in Loyal to Ferdinand and Anna Schweiger.
He married Evelyn Schoettler, May 6, 1931 in Loyal. He farmed in the Loyal
area all his life.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; two sons, Lionel of Auburndale and Dean
of Loyal; one daughter, Mrs. Gary (Nancy) Abel of Racine; one sister, Mrs.
George (Marcella) Schellinger of Loyal; eight grandchildren and one
great-grandchild.
He was predeceased by his parents and four sisters.
