Krapf, Charles Sr. (20 SEP 1898 – 27 JAN 1986)
Charles Krapf Sr., 87, Greenwood, died around 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27 1986 at
his home.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, 1986 at Holy Family
Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Holv Family Cemetery. Rev. James
Lesczynski will officiate. Pallbearers will be Donald Lesar, David Koschak.
John Koschak, Steve Koschak, Henry Lamovec Jr., and David Patridge. The body
will lie in state at the Rinka Funeral from 3-6 on Wednesday and then will
be taken to the church. Friends may call there after 7.
He was born Sept. 20, 1898 in Waukegan, Illinois. to Andrew and Theresa (nee
Steinstopfer) Krapf. He married Jennie Koschak on Feb. 17, 1931 in Waukegan,
Illinois.
After his marriage, he lived in Waukegan for two years. He worked for Johns
Manville Co. for 10 years. In 1933 they moved to the town of Mead, where he
farmed for a number of years.
He was a member of the Holy Family Church, and a member of the KSKJ 136.
He is survived by his wife, one son, Charles Krapf Jr., Greenwood; two
daughters: Mrs. Edward (Theresa) Zorman, Greenwood, and Mrs. Duane (Betty)
Patridge, Mosinee; and seven grandchildren.
A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
