Hansen, Louise (27 MAR 1907 – 1 APR 1999)
Louise Hansen, 92, Withee, died April 1, 1999, at Clark County Health Care
Center in Owen.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Nazareth Lutheran Church in
Withee with Pastor Paul Petersen officiating. Burial will be m the church
cemetery.
Friends may call after 11 am. until service time Monday at the church.
Swedberg Funeral home is in charge of the arrangements.
She was born March 27,1907, at Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), the daughter of
Hans Peter and Nikolene (nee Stockholm) Hansen. She taught music at Coby for
two years and was a teacher in Withee for 16 years. She was the manager of a
hardware store in Withee for 16 years and ran "Specially Gifts from Round
the World," retiring at the age of 90.
She was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church at Withee where she served as
the choir director, was a member of the Nazareth Lutheran Church Women and
was the church's organist for over 50 years. She enjoyed her Danish
heritage, helping people, knitting and music
She is survived by one sister, Edna (High) Gwin of Hudson; a sister-in-law,
Elizabeth "Koeny" Hansen of Saginaw, Mich.; five nieces and nephews; also
several cousins, including special cousins, Ellen (Lori) Swedberg of Shawano
and Guy (Carole) Hansen of Harshaw.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Emil Hansen.
The family wishes to thank the staff act Clark County Health Care Center for
their wonderful care.
