Sanders, George James (27 October 1930 – 8 December 2018) With Flag
George James Sanders, 88, of Humbird passed away Dec. 8, 2018 at his home.
He was born Oct. 27, 1930, in Sparta to Vera and Arthur Sanders. He served
in the U.S. Air Force for three years, enlisting at the age of 17. He
married Marie Krouse Dec. 1, 1956.
George enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with family and friends and
cooking.
He is survived by his wife, Marie; children Rich Sanders, Alice (Wade) June
and Howie Sanders; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his 10 siblings.
Per George’s wishes, there will not be a funeral service. A celebration of
life will be held at a later date.
