Finch, Tom “Pat” (28 October 1942 – 18 January 2019)
Tom “Pat” Finch, 76, of Merrillan passed peacefully at his home Jan. 18. He
was born Oct. 28, 1942, in Oakdale to Tom and Beatrice Finch.
Pat was a truck driver for over 30 years. He was very passionate about his
horse team Gus and Gib. He attended many pulling competitions, fairs and
trail ride. He also enjoyed cutting wood, reading, farming, playing the
accordion, four-wheeling and watching semis drive by.
Pat is survived by his daughters, Tammy Strandberg, Patti Junk (Matt
Murray), Gina Klean (Scott Archer), Paula Straubel (Jimmy), Tasha Brueggan
(Tim) and Tanya Stewart (Larry); 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren,
and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Pat was preceded in death by two sisters, Donna
Reichenbach and Gloria Rupnow; brother Glen Finch; and grandson Gage
Stewart.
There will be a private funeral and burial services. Final resting place
will be the Mentor Cemetery in Humbird.
