In 1949 Ginny Isaacs established a Wedding Service Business, selling wedding supplies from the office at Tri-County Implement Company. She carried one catalog of samples from Carlson Craft in Mankato, Minnesota.

Over the years the catalogs increased to four and other companies were added. After the implement shop closed Isaacs added an office/display room to their home and Ginny sold the invitations from there. This worked out very well as many of the brides preferred evening or weekend appointments.

Wedding and anniversary invitations, also wedding announcements, enclosure cards, respond cards, wedding and anniversary books, crepe paper, cake tops, center pieces, table runners, aisle runners, garters and all types of wedding accessories were sold.
Interesting notes: At first it was almost always the bride and her mother who came to pick out the invitations. Increasingly it became the bride without her mother and sometimes with the groom. By the 1990s it was sometimes the bride and groom and one or two of their children who came.

There was many a squabble between bride and mother over what supplies to order and what invitations to pick, but most were a great joy to work with.

When the granddaughters of Ginny's first customers began to come in for invitations, Ginny felt it was time to retire from the business, so in 1995, after 46 years, she closed the books.
