Fortuna, Charlotte Ann (Marriage – 26 July 1975)
Miss Charlotte Ann Fortuna became the bride of Gregory James Langreck in a 1
p.m. ceremony performed Saturday, July 26, at Holy Family Catholic Church,
Willard, by the Rev. Michael Mertens. A reception at the West Side Hall and
parish shelter was followed by an evening dance at the Silver Dome Ballroom.
The daughter of Mrs. Christine Fortuna, Rt. 1 Willard, the bride was
presented in marriage by her brother, Eugene Fortuna. Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand
Langreck, Rt. 3 Greenwood, are the grooms parents.
A bouquet of yellow roses, blue carnations and white baby’s breath accented
the bride’s A-line gown of Quiana fashioned with a touch of lace on the
bodice. A picture hat with veiling completed her ensemble.
The light blue dresses worn by the bridal attendants were complimented by
matching hats and bouquets of blue and yellow tinted daisies and white
baby’s breath. Mrs. Donna Smith, Evanston, Il., sister of the bride, was her
matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Robin Musich, Neillsville, Mrs.
Elaine Langreck, Spencer, Mrs. Janet Krause, Owen, and Mrs. Josephine
Lindner, Greenwood.
Serving as bestman was Robert Langreck, Spencer. Groomsmen were Lewis
Fortuna, Michael Olson, Michael Fontaine and Bill Herr. Guests were seated
by Joseph Langreck and Francis Langreck.
Miss Mary Jo Wagner was the organist and Miss Laura Lesar, the soloist.
The newlyweds, both 1973 graduates of the Greenwood community schools and
Mid-State Technical Institute-Stevens Point graduates, will make their home
in Marshfield where they are employed.
