Anderson, Robert “Bob” (9 MAR 1938 - 7 OCT 2019)

Robert “Bob” Anderson, age 81, of Tomahawk, passed away on Monday, Oct. 7, 2019, at Avanti Health Center in Minocqua under the care of Dr. Kate Hospice.

Bob was born March 9, 1938, in Owen, to Sigward G. and Linda (Niemi) Anderson. Bob served our country with the United States Army. He married Leola “Ole” Larson on Jan. 2, 1958, in Owen. Bob was a salesman for Hutt Electric in Abbotsford for many years. Bob and Ole moved to the town of Little Rice in 1993 from Abbotsford. Bob was very handy and built his own home. He loved the outdoors – hunting, fishing and camping. Bob also enjoyed archery, riding his ATV and snowmobiling. He was a fan of the Packers, Badgers and Brewers. Bob cherished his time spent with family and fishing with his good friend – Jerry Lemmer.

Bob is survived by his sons: Michael (Vicki) Anderson of Hazelhurst and Steven (Christine) Anderson of Milwaukee; and his siblings: Lester (Ginny) Gifford, Arlene (Dan) Mantsch, Donna (LeRoy) Misener and Dottie (Jim) Bjornstad. Bob is further survived by his grandson, Erik (Shannon) Anderson of Kronenwetter; and his great-grandson, Owen.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
