Garbisch, Jean (27 January 1941 – 1 August 1975)
Mrs. Orville (Jean) Garbisch, 34, of Granton, was pronounced dead on arrival
Friday, August 1, at approximately 10 p.m. at Memorial Hospital. Funeral
services were held Monday afternoon from Zion American Lutheran Church in
the Town of Grant with the Rev. Stephen Engelstad officiating. Burial was in
the church cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Gilbertson Funeral Home,
Granton.
Mrs. Garbisch, the former Jean Krause, was born January 27, 1941, in Granton
and received her education in schools there. Her marriage to Orville
Garbisch took place February 14, 1959, at Zion American Lutheran Church. The
Garbisches lived on a farm in the Town of Grant until 1966 when they moved
to Granton.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include her father, Louie Krause of
Washburn; two daughters, Crystal and Carmin, and a son, Darin, all at home;
and a brother, Donald Krause of Brookfield.
Pallbearers were Roger Winter, William Meier, Ralph Riedel, Arnold Wesenberg,
Ronald Garbisch and Dale Wesenberg.
Joanne Grassman was the organist.
