Iowa State University has announced scholarships awarded by the College of
Agriculture and Life Sciences and its academic units to undergraduate
students for the 2019-20 academic year. Rosa Rarick of Loyal, who is
studying dairy science, received the Thorvald J. Andersen Scholarship and
Fred Foreman Scholarship for Growth in Leadership Participation for the
2019-20 academic year. Katelyn Zimmerman of Spencer, who is studying
agriculture and life sciences education, received the Pay It Forward
Agricultural Education Scholarship for the 2019-20 academic year.
More than $3.5 million in student scholarships are offered each year by the
College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and its academic units, in addition
to monies awarded by Iowa State at the university level.
