Plaman, Norma (5 FEB 1887 – 2 SEP 1974)
The Rev. David Kock, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church in Rhinelander, will
conduct services at 11 a.m. today, Thursday, September 5, 1974 at the
Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home, Owen, for Mrs. Norman Plaman, 87, of
Rhinelander, formerly of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), who died at 8:20 p.m.
Monday, September 2, 1974 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, Waukesha.
Interment will be made in Riverside Cemetery near Withee.
The former Norman Stammer was born February 5, 1887 at Freedom, Wisconsin,
and was married in 1908 to Otto George Plaman, who preceded her in death
January 21, 1952 The couple farmed in the township of Beaver (Clark Co.)
until 1948, when they moved to Withee.
From 1958 she had been making her home with her two daughters in
Rhinelander, and since May of 1974 had been residing with her son in
Muskego.
Survivors include a son, Wallace, Muskego; two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Virgean)
Rossow and Mrs. Isabelle Salzwedel, both of Rhinelander; a sister, Mrs.
Alice Schwalbech, Appleton; 20 great-grandchildren; and 6
great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her husband, were two sons and two
brothers.
