Navy Man Nelson R. Niemi, son of Mrs. Janet Niemi of route 1, Owen (Clark
Co., Wis.), graduated from recruit training at the Naval Training Center,
Great Lakes, Ill.
He is scheduled to report to Great Lakes Illinois.
The training included instruction in Seamanship, military regulations,
firefighting, close order drill, first aid and Navy history.
