Kluve, Archie L. (21 AUG 1913 – 30 SEP 1974)
Funeral services for Archie Leon Kluve, 61, Abbotsford (Clark Co., Wis.),
will be held at 2 p.m. today, Thursday, October 5, 1974. The final rites
will be conducted from St. Paul's American Lutheran Church, Curtiss, with
the Rev. Roger Tellock in charge. Burial will be made in the Norwegian
Lutheran Cemetery, rural Curtiss.
Visitations may be made at the Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home, Owen, after 3:30
Wednesday afternoon, October 2.
The deceased passed away at 4:35 p.m. Monday, September 30, 1974, at St.
Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, where he had been a patient since the 23rd.
Mr. Kluve was born August 21, 1913 at Curtiss, and attended the Curtiss
Grade School and the Abbotsford High School. He farmed in the town of
Mayville, and later moved to Curtiss and worked for the Curtiss Cheese
Factory.
For the past eight years he had resided at Abbotsford, where he was employed
by the Streckert Manufacturing Company for a number of years.
He was married to the former Sally Sorbi on March 17, 1951, at Curtiss.
Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Walter (Marian) Lipprandt, Abbotsford,
Mrs. Clarence (Eunice) Striet, Milwaukee, Mrs. Mike (Leota) Chearnette,
Baraboo, and Miss Juanita Kluve, Nigeria, Africa.
A brother preceded him in death.
