Marriage vows were pledged Saturday, August 9, in a 3 p.m. ceremony at the
Elmwood United Methodist Church by Miss Jacqueline Rae Ottman and David
James Bates.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Ottman of Elmwood and the
groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Bates of Alma Center.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Elmwood Rod and Gun
Clubhouse. Proch’s Ballroom, Ellsworth, was chosen for the wedding dance.
The newlyweds will make their home in Menomonie where the groom will be a
student at Stout Stare University.
