Cooper, Frederick A. (4 January 1949 – 21 December 2008)
Frederick A. Cooper, 56, of Beloit died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, in his home.
He was born Jan. 4, 1949, in Black River Falls, the son of Douglas G. and Lillian Amundson Cooper. Fred was a graduate of Beloit Memorial High School. He married Bonnie Brandt Oct. 9, 1971, in Beloit.
Fred was formerly employed by United Industries. He once attended a welding school in Oklahoma named after Oral Roberts. Fred also worked as a body repair technician for many years and owned his own body shop for a period of time. He received special recognition for painting classic cars that won awards at various car shows.
Fred enjoyed reading his car magazines, watching his grandchildren and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He studied the Bible daily and anxiously awaited the new world the Lord has promised to us all.
Survivors include his two children, Brenda (Terry) Rudolph and Brad (Monica) Brandt, both of Beloit; grandchildren, Jacob, Jordan and Andrew Rudolph and Abby Brandt, all of Beloit; his mother, Lillian Cooper of Beloit; sister, Twilla (Ralph) Blair of Beloit; niece, Amber Hannon of Georgia; nephew, James Dallman of Georgia; great-nieces and great-nephews; and previous wife, Bonnie Brandt of Beloit.
He was predeceased by his father and grandparents.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, assisted the family with arrangements.
