Mildenberger, Emily Rose (Birth – 1 January 2009)
NEW YEAR’S DAY Black River Memorial Hospital’s Obstetrics Department welcomed its first baby of 2009. Emily Rose Mildenberger arrived Jan. 1 at 7:37 p.m., weighing 8 pounds 8 ˝ ounces; she was 21 inches in length. Emily’s parents are Timothy Manka Sr. (1) and Amy Ann Mildenberger of Merrillan.
The hospital presented the parents a congratulatory “Celebration of Life” basket containing two food entrees, a loaf of the hospital’s bread, homemade cookies, fresh fruit and fruit juice. Additional items in the basket included were presented from a variety of local organizations and businesses. Welcome to the world, Emily Rose Mildenberger!
