Deborah Craig of Willard (Clark Co., Wis.), and Kevin Steiner (Clark Co.)
freshmen at the University of Wisconsin, River Falls, have been awarded
scholarships by the University College of Agriculture.
Both have been awarded the Wisconsin Rural Rehabilitation Corporation
Scholarship for 1975-76 academic year, according to Dr. J.C. Dollabon, Dean of
the College of Agriculture.
Miss Craig has selected Dairy Science as a major area of study.
Steiner has selected Agricultural Economics as a major.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Craig, route 1, Willard, Deborah is a 1975
graduate of Greenwood Senior High School. Kevin is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Francis Steiner of Granton, and is a 1975 graduate of Granton Senior High
School. Both students were selected by the College of Agriculture scholarship
committee.
The W.R.R.C. Scholarship, which pays the student's total tuition, is presented
each year by the Wisconsin Rural Rehabilitation Corporation, Inc., an
organization which works in conjunction with the Farmers Home Administration.
The award is made to freshmen in the College of Agriculture who are from
families engaged in production agriculture in Wisconsin.
