Andrews - Blanchar
Miss Margie Mae Andrews and Mr. Harold Dewey Blanchar were united in marriage at the Methodist parsonage in this city at 10 o'clock on Tuesday forenoon, August 30, 1927, Rev. A. D. Willett officiating. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Iliff. After the ceremony the wedding party motored to Fallhall Glen, where a wedding dinner was served. The happy couple departed on the afternoon train for Madison. They will also spend a few days at Milwaukee and Minneapolis before going to Orange, California, where they will make their home.
The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Bessie Smith, of Alma Center. She graduated from the Alma Center high school and later completed a course at a business college at Madison. She is a young lady who is held in favorable regard by her many friends in her home community.
The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Charls Blanchar, former residents of Alma Center, who have resided at Orange, California, many years. He is a high school graduated and is engaged with a large fruit company at Orange. He is a young man of excellent ability and the happy couple have very bright prospects in the far west. They have the congratulations and best wishes of their many friends.
