AT the recent annual meeting of the Jackson County Fair Association, Merlin J. Peterson was elected to the office of Secretary. He will fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Onoka Pufahl, who moved away. Reelected were President Roger Curran, Vice President, Gile Patterson, and Treasurer, Morril Orlich.
Mr. Peterson, former Jackson-Trempealeau county assemblyman, is also a former State Highway Department Patrolman and is presently serving as the Treasurer of the Town of Albion.
