MUSSER - GEARING WIN IN BID FOR ASSEMBLY
Casting a total of 3,917 votes in the Tuesday, September Primary Election, Jackson County voters named Terry Musser as the nominee on the Republican ticket and Desiree Gearing as the Democratic nominee for the 92nd District Assembly race. The candidates in that race and their totals were as follows for the Jackson, Monroe, Clark and Eau Claire area: Democrats - Gearing 1057, Humphrey 589, Hanson 199, Marion Hagen 459. On the Republican side: Musser 3,178; Ferries 1,684; and Sund 1,405.
