Sheppke-Peterson
Peggy Scheppke and Russell Peterson were married in a four o'clock ceremony conducted Sept. 16, 1978, from the Black River Falls United Methodist Church. Pastor Ray E. Biggers officiated.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Scheppke and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Peterson, all of Black River Falls.
For her wedding, the bride wore a white organza gown trimmed in lace and featuring long sleeves and wide cuffs. She carried a bouquet of white roses and rust mums and baby's breath.
Cindy Fagerness, Lisa Engebretson, Mary Olson, Cathy Kuhlman, and Rita Moore served as bridesmaids. They wore green crepe dresses and carried bouquets of butterscotch, bronze and yellow mums with baby's breath..
Keith Miller served as best man with Jim Kubina, Doug Mason, Steve and Jim Peterson as groomsmen. Mark Kuhlman and Dale Peterson, seated the guests.
The bride attended Western Wisconsin Technical Institute in La Crosse and is employed at the Gunderson Clinic in La Crosse. The groom is employed by the Toro Company of Tomah. The couple is making their home in Sparta.
