Peggy Marie Peterson, 19, R. 1 Black River Falls, died of a heart attack Saturday, May 11.
She was stricken while attending a dance in Melrose. The rescue squad was called, but she died on the way to Black River Memorial Hospital in Black River Falls. She had had a heart condition since childhood.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Little Norway Lutheran Church, Rev. Robert Salveson officiating, and burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends were to call at the Torgerson Chapel after 2 p.m. Monday and at the church Tuesday after 1 p.m.
She was born Dec. 18, 1954 in Sparta to Mr. and Mrs. Verland Peterson and graduated from Black River Falls High School in 1973.
Surviving are her parents; two brothers, Scott and Barry, and three sisters, Connie, Cindy and Melinda, all at home; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Chester Brushafter of Melrose; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Merlin J. Peterson of Black River Falls.
