Poole, Keith Vernon (24 April 1978 – 19 April 2009)
Keith V. Poole, 30, died suddenly Sunday, April 19, 2009 in Black River Falls.
He was born April 24, 1978, to Joni (Gjerseth) Poole in Janesville. He was baptized Feb. 17, 1980, and confirmed Oct. 25, 1992, at the First Lutheran Church of Janesville.
Keith grew up in Janesville. He attended Janesville Parker High School until 1994. He then moved to Black River Falls, where he was employed by Northland Cranberry, Ashley Furniture, Hoffman Construction, and, most recently, Hart Tie and Lumber in Black River Falls.
He enjoyed fishing, downhill skiing and hunting. Keith had a great love for his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents, Joni (Mike) Kernan of Black River Falls; grandmother, Marcella (nee Johnson) Gjerseth of Black River Falls; grandfather James Kernan; great aunt, Patricia Johnson; great uncles, Dean and Truman Johnson; aunts, Susan (nee Gjerseth) (Bill) Huber and Parry Vacek; uncles: Chris, Brad, Russel, Steve and Danny Kernan; special friend, Claudine Kenyon; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Keith was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gerald Gjerseth; great-grandmother, Inga Johnson; great aunt and uncles, Shirley, Arthur, Robert and Dan Johnson.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at 2 p.m., at Buswell Funeral Home, Black River Falls. Reverend Ramie Bakken will be officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Black River Falls.
Family and friends are invited for visitation Wednesday, April 22, 2009, from noon until the time of the services at the funeral home.
