Erdman, Gertrude (Marriage – 27 June 1936)
Erdman-Peterson
Miss Gertrude Erdman and Price Peterson were united in marriage at 10 o'clock a.m. Saturday, June 27, 1936, at Rockford, Illinois. They were attended by Miss Norman Gilbertson and Lawrence Klukus.
The bride wore a bright blue costume with white accessories and carried a bouquet of red roses. Her bridesmaid was dressed in pink. The groom wore a brown suit.
They motored from Rockford here that day, and a wedding supper was served at the home of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter O. Peterson, of Irving. Mr. and Mrs. Price Peterson gave a wedding dance at the Irving hall last evening which was attended by a large crowd of their friends and was an enjoyable affair.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul E. Erdman of Janesville, and was a graduate of the Janesville high school last year. The groom attended high school in this city. He is engaged in the livestock business, dividing his time between this section and Janesville, where he markets his stock. He and his bride will make their home in Janesville.
