Tara J. Tidgwell, 24, of Black River Falls, died Monday, Sept. 4, 2000 at Luther Hospital, Eau Claire, Wisc. She was born in Chicago City, Minn., on April 19, 1976 to Toni Tidgwell and Gary Loger. Tara attended Black River Falls and West Baraboo Schools. She was currently employed by Jim Carter Ford in Eau Claire.
She is survived by one son, Dakota of Black River Falls; her mother and stepfather, Toni and Jim Thomas of Warrens, Wisc., her father, Gary Loger of St. Croix, Wis., two sisters Tasha and Tanya Finch of Warrens,Wis.; one niece, Jordan; and one nephew, Tanner. She is further survived by an uncle, Todd Tidgwell; two cousins; four stepbrothers, Shannon, Dustin, Jade and Logan Thomas; four stepsisters, Tammy Strandberg, Patti Junk, Gina Klean, and Paula Meyer; her materal grandparents, Bonnie and Wilbur (Bud) Killinger of Black River Falls, and John and Bonita Tidgwell of Stacy, Minn.; her paternal grandparents, Leonard and Gladys Loger of North Branch, Minn.; and special friends, Denise Browne, Robb Nelson and Dennis Kopinski.
She was preceded in death by two maternal great-grandmothers in July 2000, Gertrude Peterson and Carmine Tidgwell.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8, 2000, in Little Norway Lutheran Church, Black River Falls. The Rev. Calvin Thoreson will officiate with burial to be held in Little Norway Lutheran Church Cemetery. Friends and family may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2000, in the Torgerson Funeral Home, Black River Falls. Friends and family also may call from noon until the time of services at the church on Friday.
