Cochran, Sharron M. (14 December 1936 – 14 February 2009)
Sharron M. (Bandy) Cochran, 72, of Bonaparte, IA, died the evening of Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009, at home.
She was born Dec. 14, 1936, at Burlington, IA, to Clarence and Augusta (Rohmer) Bandy. She lived in Burlington, California, and most of her adult life in Wisconsin.
She was a farm homemaker near Osseo, later owned a mobile home park in Fairchild and retired to Bonaparte in 2005.
She attended the Assembly of God Church in Augusta and currently attended New Hope Assembly of God, Farmington, IA.
Surviving are three sons, Mark Cochran of Tennessee, Mathew Cochran of Baraboo and Darnell (Joelle) Cochran of Osseo; two daughters, Darla (Daniel) Gregory of Fairchild and Tawnya (TJ) Gregory of Mason, MI; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; multiple foster children; and a half-brother, William Bandy.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson.
Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 20, 2009, at New Hope Assembly of God, Farmington. Pastor Larry Wallingford officiated. Cremation followed the service.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 20, at 11 a.m. at the Hillcrest Cemetery on CTH T (east of Osseo off US 10 near Price). A luncheon follows at the Cochran farm.
