Olson, Stella Coretta (14 May 1914 – 24 Nov. 2000)
Stella Coretta Olson, 86, of Osseo, died Friday, November 24, 2000 at Osseo Area Medical Center.
She was born May 14, 1914 in the town of Hale, Trempealeau Co., to John and Clara (Torpen) Evenson.
She married Curtis Olson on September 4, 1954 in Pigeon Falls, Wis., by Rev. E.B. Christopherson. Together they farmed in the town of Northfield, Jackson Co., until they moved into Osseo.
She enjoyed quilting, raising African Violets and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Roger Christianson, Racine, Carmen (Gordon) Clausing, Hartford, Charles (Debi) Christianson, West Allis, Sandra (David) Sandelius, Nashville, TN, Sherri (Larry) Cable, Stillwater, MN, Larry Olson, Sun Prairie; a sister, Ruth Johnson, Osseo; a brother, Clifford (Alice) Evenson, Osseo; nine grandchildren and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2000 at Osseo Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Lewis Thompson officiating. Burial will be in South Beef River Lutheran Cemetery, rural Osseo.
Friends may call from 12 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
Schiefelbein Funeral Home, Osseo, is assisting the family.
