Hakl, Barbara (13 SEP 1975)
Miss Barbara Hakl, 810 W. Fourth Street, Marshfield, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Anthony G. Hakl, 1500 W. Fifth Street, Marshfield, and James Schwieso,
Middleton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Schwieso, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), were
united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, 1975 at Our Lady of
Peace Catholic Church. The Very Rev. Walter J. Dillenburg and the Rev. Lawrence
B. Berger, pastor and assistant, respectively, officiated at the nuptials.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, and nuptial music was provided by
the Brothers of Pius X and Charmie Schwieso.
The bride chose a chapel length gown of maricane and matching turban headpiece
having a waltz length veil of sheer illusion. She carried a ballerina
arrangement of yellow cymbidium orchids, stephanotis, yellow star flowers with
an edging of variegated ivy leaves.
The matron s of honor were Mrs. Allen Salzwedel, Marshfield and Mrs. Kurt
Krueger, Saukville, and the bridesmaid, Miss Carol Hakl, Marshfield.
Princess style green jacket dresses were worn by the bridal attendants, each of
whom wore an autumn bouquet of fall pompons, star flowers, pods, and foliage,
and matching pompons in her hair.
Best man was duane Schwieso of Wind Lake. Groomsmen wer Terry Schwieso, Cocoa,
Florida, and Brian Schwieso, and Allen Salzwedel and Bruce Schwieso, both of
Marshfield were ushers..
The wedding reception, dinner and dance were held at the Hotel Charles.
The new Mrs. Schwieso, who will be working in a travel agency in Madison, was
manager of the Travel Shop in Marshfield before her marriage. Her husband is an
electronic technician for Tracor Nortehrn.
They will make their home in Middleton.
