On Sunday, October 5, 1975 Henry Aumann Sr. of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.)
celebrated his 80th birthday. The day began with a 10:30 guitar mass at St.
Anthony's Catholic Church. Guitars were played by two granddaughters, Sandy
Miller and Lori Aumann.
Mass servers were two grandsons, Donnie Aumann and Steven Miller.
Guests for dinner and supper were Father Chester, pastor of St. Anthony's, Mr.
and Mrs. Henry Aumann Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Louis Aumann, Butler, Mr. and Mrs. Pat
Mrotek and family, Cadott, Mrs. Jeanette Benzler, Harry and Clete Susa,
Greenwood, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Auman and family, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ampe and
family, Mr. and Mrs. Irban Aumann and family, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Aumann Jr. and
family, and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Miller and family, all of Loyal. The party was held
at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Miller.
Mr. Aumann was presented with an electric garage door opener from the
family.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal,
for Henry Aumann Sr., 91, of 106 Thomas Street, Loyal, who died at 7:30 p.m.
Monday at St. Joseph’s Hospital Hospice Care Unit.
The Rev. Charles Osowski of St. Peter’s Church, Stevens Point, will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Neillsville. Grandsons will serve as
pallbearers.
Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Thursday at Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal. A Parish
Council of Catholic Women rosary will be at 3:15 p.m., prayer service at 8 p.m.,
and Knights of Columbus rosary at 8:30 p.m., all Thursday, at the funeral home.
Mr. Aumann was born October 5, 1895 in Jefferson, a son of the late John
(1851-1924) and Caroline (Kemmeter) Aumann (1851 - 1925). He attended school in
Neillsville.
He married Agnes Langreck February 6, 1923 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church,
Neillsville. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 1983. She
survives.
The couple farmed in the Neillsville area. In 1946 they moved to the Town of
Loyal and continued to farm there until 1956, when they retired and moved into
the city.
He was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal, the Knights of
Columbus, and the Catholic Order of Foresters.
Surviving, besides his wife, are four sons, Louis of Butler and Clarence, Irban
and Henry Jr., all of Loyal; four daughters, Mrs. Clara Ampe and Mrs. Raymond J.
(Caroline) Miller, both of Loyal, Mrs. Art (Jeanette) Petkovsek of Greenwood and
Mrs. Pat (Doreen) Mrotek of Cadott; 27 grandchildren, and 20
great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by five sister, six brothers, one son,
Leon, and one grandson, Michael.
