Lezotte, Mr./Mrs. Glenn (Gold – 15 OCT 1975)
Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Lezotte, 218 Division Street, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.),
celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary with a dinner for the immediate family
on Saturday, October 4, 1975, at the Amber Inn, Loyal, with an Open House at the
Star Lodge Motel on Sunday, October 5 from 2 – 4 p.m.
Mr. and Mrs. Lezotte were married October 15, 1925 at Winona, Minnesota. They
lived in Merrillan, Wisconsin for 20 eyars, then moved to Neillsville, where
they lived for 30 eyars. They moved to Loyal in September 1974.
Mr. Lezotte was employed at the Nelson Muffler Company at Neillsville for 23
years, retiring in 1969. His hobbies are fishing and hunting.
Mrs. Lezotte enjoys flowers and home decorating, and also states that she loves
housework and cooking.
One of the original attendants, Mrs. Laura (Simmenson) Gee, was present for the
celebration.
Mr. and Mrs. Lezotte are the parents of two children, Mrs. Harold (Lorraine)
Francis, Loyal, and Glenn Lezotte Jr., Stoughton, Wisconsin. They have seven
grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
A granddaughter, Dr. and Mrs. Gordon Gross and son Eric flew from Scottsdale,
Arizona to be present. Other guests were from Loyal, Neenah, Wausau,
Neillsville, Beloit, Merrillan, Alma Center, Janesville, and Stoughton.
