Henry, Terrance Myron (29 December 1956 – 22 February 2010)

 

Terrance M. Henry, 53, of Black River Falls passed away Monday, Feb. 22, 2010, at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, La Crosse.

 

Terrance Myron Henry was born Dec. 29, 1956, in Milwaukee to Llewellyn and Albertina (Thundercloud) Henry.  He was raised at the Pyramid Lake Reservation in Albuquerque, NM, before settling in Black River Falls.

 

He had been employed as a seasonal handyman and as a mechanic.  He also had been employed at the Ho-Chunk Nation buffalo ranch at Muscoda.

 

Terrance enjoyed traveling and performing in rodeos, making hand drums and dance bustles and working on automobiles.

 

He is survived by three daughters, Deshonna Henry of Washington State, Ileana Henry of Cloquet, MN, and Felina Henry of Pyramid Lake, NV; seven grandchildren; a sister, Ileana (Charles Baker, Sr.) Henry of Black River Falls; three brothers, Bruce (Danielle) Pettibone of Saxton, Stuart (Deanna) Henry of Shawano and Gregory Henry of Reno, NV; and numerous other relatives and friends.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

 

Traditional American services will be held Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010, 12 p.m., at Ho-Chunk District One Community Center, Black River Falls.  George Garvin will be the presiding elder.  Burial will follow in Decorah Cemetery.

 

Family and friends are invited for visitation Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Ho-Chunk District One Community Center, Black River Falls.  Family and friends are also invited for visitation at the District One Community Center Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the services.

 

Buswell Funeral Home of Black River Falls is assisting the family with arrangements.
