Ladouceur, Raymond T. “Ray” (13 August 1930 – 21 September 2008) With Flag

Raymond T. “Ray” Ladouceur, 78, of Black River Falls died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, in Black River Memorial Hospital.

Ray was born August 13, 1930, in Putnam, CT, to Charles and Ida (Auger) Ladouceur.

He married Millicent Livers in Seattle, WA. Millicent died Jan. 10, 1990. Ray later married Rosella Eickhoff on May 7, 1994 in Bangor.

Ray was employed for 23 years at the Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL. He retired from Cook County Hospital and then moved to Black River Falls.

He served on the Black River Falls Board of Appeals for 15 years, which he enjoyed very much. He also enjoyed traveling in his motorhome and deer hunting when he was in good health. He was an excellent dancer, which he loved. He also liked to do some gardening. Ray was a wonderful husband.

Survivors include his wife, Rosella of Black River Falls; a stepdaughter, Myrna (husband, T.J.) Talley of Mesa, AZ; two brothers, Edgar Ladouceur of Danielson, CT, and Leo Ladouceur of Sherman, TX; sisters-in-law, Claris Brooks of Edmonds, WA, Raselda Berenes of Concord, CA, Rena Gilgen of Clever, MO, and Fern Schmaltz of La Crosse; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his first wife, Millicent, he was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister and his wonderful dog, Nicole.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008, at the Bangor First Presbyterian Church, and burial will be in the Neshanic Cemetery, West Salem. Pastor Cindy Arndt will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to either the Jackson County Humane Society or the Bangor First Presbyterian Church.

The Buswell Funeral Home, Black River Falls, is assisting the family with arrangements.
