Groth, Jean R. (4 OCT 1975)

On Saturday, October 4, 1975, at 7:30 p.m. in the First United Church of Christ, Miss Jean R. Groth, 104 S. Gwinn Street, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), and Wayne E. Radue, Route 1, Neillsville, were united in marriage. The Rev. Kenneth Dix officiated at the ceremony. Mrs. Kenneth Dix was the organist and the singers were Linda Kilty and Sandy Loos.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, was seen in an A-line gown of white organza over baby blue taffeta, and trimmed with Venice lace and blue ribbon. A Camelot headpiece held a full length mantilla train veil. She carried a bouquet of red roses and white carnations.

Miss Elaine Blasel, route 2, Colby, was the maid of honor, and Miss Kristine Radue, 406 Leonhard Street, Marshfield, was the bridesmaid. They wore A-line dresses of blue knit with empire waists and trimmed with white lace. They carried bouquets of blue and white carnations with white streamers.

Bruce Seehafer, route 4, Marshfield, was the best man, and Gary Blasel, route 2, Colby, was the groomsman.


Dennis Radue, route 1, Neillsville, and Dennis Geiger, route 1, Colby, performed the duties of ushering guests.

A supper was held at the Redwood Inn for the immediate family and a dance followed at the Village Plaza, Spencer.

The new Mrs. Radue is a 1969 graduate of Colby High School, and is now employed at Land O' Lakes, of Spencer. The groom is a 1971 graduate of Loyal High School and a 1973 graduate of Mid-state Tech. He is now employed at Land O' Lakes, Spencer.

Following a wedding trip ti Wisconsin Dells and the Black Hills, the new Mr. and Mrs. Radue will be at home at 104 S. Gwinn Street, Loyal.
