Schwab, Lillian D. (25 April 1912 – 3 January 2010)
Lillian D. Schwab, 97, of Boscobel, and formerly of rural Woodman, passed away Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010, at her home in Boscobel.
She was born April 25, 1912, in Wauzeka Township, Crawford County, the daughter of John D. and Amalia (Stenner) Freymiller.
She married George C. F. Schwab Nov. 22, 1945, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Boscobel. He preceded her in death Aug. 21, 1984.
She his survived by two sons: Dr. Charles (Sandra) Schwab of Boscobel and George (Susan) Schwab of Black River Falls; one daughter, Joyce (Jim) Riemenapp of Cobb; seven grandchildren, Dr. Eric (Michelle) Schwab of Rice Lake, Jody (Andrew) Symula of Richmond, VA, Sara Darling of Minneapolis, MN, Chelsea (Chad) Schneider of Eau Clare, Michael Riemenapp of Highland, Kristin (Brian) Milliken of Linden and Matthew Riemenapp of Verona; and two great-grandsons, Rowan Schwab of Rice Lake and Trent Milliken of Linden.
She was preceded in death by her parents along with a brother, Floyd Freymiller.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the Kendall Funeral home in Boscobel. Pastor Barbara Wolfe will be officiating. Burial will be in the Boscobel Cemetery.
Friends may call Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel and also Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Immanuel Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ at 15168 Town Hall Road, Woodman, WI 53827 or the Boscobel Rescue Squad.
